Wishy-washy April weather encourages creative layering.

I love headbands, but my hair is so thick and unruly I've always had trouble making them work. For some reason the wired style is an exception and keeps everything in place much better than elastic or plastic. I'm very proud of my handmade wired headband. I think I'll make a few more when I get my hands on some additional plastic-coated wire. It was so easy I won't give a tutorial for it here, but it you want to make your own you can find lots of easy instructions by searching for "diy wire headband."

Hope your April is going well so far!

  1. Denim bell bottom perfection right here. Love, love, love! Headbands are a lifelong favourite of mine. They were a styling trademark of mine all through school, especially from about the 6th to the 8th grade. I still adore them to bits and own quite a few these days, too.
