Happy October!

Here are some of my favorite photos from September. Goldenrod, sneezeweed, mushroom, moss and spiderweb - they sound like ingredients for an autumn witch's brew. I'm always amazed at what I find when I go outside and take a close look at things.

    1. Thanks so much, Lucy. September was just full of golden hues - there's still fields and fields of goldenrod blooming.

  4. Very evocative photos, especially that first one and the one of the log. Makes me think of the moments before a thunderstorm.

    1. Thanks, Jamie! I've photographed those stairs at least twice on different occasions, but this is the only time I was happy with the shot.

  6. I love these photos! They make me miss traipsing through the woods of Oregon- stumbling on random stairs and bridges, spiderwebs, and seeing wild mushrooms growing out of everything.
