This black umbrella belonged to my great aunt who passed away years ago. I don't know how old it is, but it seems ancient and it's very delicate. My great aunt took excellent care of her things. I'm sure I've broken more umbrellas in my short life than she ever owned in her eighty-something years!

  1. This is such a great outfit! I love the umbrella. As some one with very very pale skin I have often thought about using an umbrella or a parasol to keep the sun off me, and by george I think this summer I will. I keep seeing all sorts of other people using them.

  2. I love these photos, you look so beautiful and almost ethereal. The umbrella makes a wonderful prop! I always think old umbrellas had such a lovelier shape.

  4. I love how these pictures with your aunt's umbrella turned out. They give me a Halloween vibe in the best way possible. Your makeup is gorgeous here too. I'm loving the color of your lipstick paired with the all black look.

  6. I love this look so much! In my teen years I wore a lot of black (super goth haha), but when I got older I wanted to combat all the black I wore by wearing a ton of colour and ignoring black completely, but recently I've started to become drawn to all black looks again. If done correctly, they can look sophisticated and incredibly romantic, which I think you have done here. I love it. xx
