I've been lazy about blogging, but busy about admiring the signs of spring. The fat robin in the first photo was staring at me through the window one morning while I was making tea. Luckily I had my camera nearby. It's my favorite bird photo so far.
Happy April!

Seeing your art here is like having a lovely moment to stop and really take in the world, the season around us. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! I aim to please. :-)
DeleteI love these bird photos! We have some blue jays and a family of cardinals that are always around in the spring. Hope you are well!
ReplyDeleteLove those cardinals! I've seen a few at the feeder, but they've been very camera-shy. Hope you are well too! :-)
DeleteYour robins and jays look so different to the ones I'm familiar with at home! That last pic of the dove(?) is especially lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you! After your comment I started looking up European species - there sure is a big difference! I believe the last photo is a mourning dove and the gray bird in the eighth photo is perhaps a dark-eyed junco. But I am brand-new at identifying birds.
DeleteAll these bird photographs make me want to go bird-hunting! (I mean, just in photographic term, not actual gun-shooting term!) Such beautiful shots!
