We've been on a whirlwind road trip to the Southwest. The Painted Desert at the Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona was not originally a planned stop, but we found ourselves with a few extra hours and were able to see some of the northern parts of the park. The pigmented layers of rock were a stunning sight for these travelers from North Carolina. Although we only experienced a tiny part of this unique national park, seeing the Painted Desert at this viewpoint was well worth the stop, and it's a shame we didn't have more time to spend here.
By the way, my dress is a much-loved oldie-but-goodie from Mata Traders and my straw hat comes from Tula Hats. I can't rave enough about it - this hat kept me from wilting in the desert on our trip. More to come soon!

ReplyDeleteThese landscapes look very other worldy to me coming from a very mossy green Ireland. I would love to see this part of America - I'm dreaming about a similar roadtrip some time down the line. I love every single detail of your outfit too!
