Here are some snapshots of us exploring the wreck of the Peter Iredale and hanging out on Cannon Beach on the chilly Oregon Coast. The large sea-stack is Haystack Rock. The Peter Iredale is on on Clatsop Spit. It wrecked in 1906 and I'm happy to report everyone survived.
I can't tell you how happy we were to have to wear jackets in the middle of summer. My packable windbreaker came in handy on this trip. This beach was covered in small jellyfish and we had to choose our steps carefully. I'm really thankful to Steven's family for taking us to these places on the Oregon coast and acting as our guides.

What a beautiful place! I love seeing wrecks, there's something so fascinating about how they erode and what's left.
