Hi!
I have an up-coming project that I'm very excited about. Last year, I tried my hand at making a personal zine - a sort of nostalgic love-letter to autumn. It taught me a lot and I had a great time compiling it. This year, I want to make a second volume, but this time including a diverse view of the season.
So I'm seeking submissions for the second volume of Walk With Me Through Autumn. This year's theme is Autumn Secrets. Looking for creative and nostalgic interpretations of this in:
- Photography / photo stories
- Art
- Comics
- Short prose with accompanying photo(s) or illustration(s)
- Poetry
- Childhood Halloween photo of yourself
Walk With Me Through Autumn will be a free digital zine. There is no compensation (for me or anyone else) - it’s just for fun! If your work is accepted, a short bio and link to your portfolio/blog will be published in the zine. Also, I'm not necessarily looking for photos of changing leaves and pumpkins (although I absolutely do welcome those - please send 'em in). If your autumn experience is closer to equator, or maybe doesn't look like the typical stock images of fall, I still want to hear from you. :-)
The release date will be around October 10, 2014.

DeleteI love the idea of this, especially after seeing your first zine. I'll keep it in my thoughts and see if I can think up something I can contribute. Though my Autumns I imagine a very different to many, especially if we are still wearing Summer clothing during some of our Winter days!

Deletethis sounds wonderful. i probably won't end up submitting anything, because when i'm asked to write or something along those lines, my mind closes up. i'm more into the season and writing about it once it's ending anyway, but i can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. i read your last one actually last spring and was so amazed.

DeleteI will totally submit something! I loved your first zine and it's been a while since I've done anything like this. I used to submit my poetry to publications all the time.
