I just wanted to share a few shots from the very end of August and the first week of September. I've recently felt compelled to document all the goldenrod and other September-ish things I see!
A big thank you to everyone who sent submissions for WWMTA II. Although I didn't get as many submissions as I had hoped, I believe the ones I was sent will make this project extra-special. I've decided to delay the release date to January or early February, so I have time to create additional material. Also, who doesn't need a bit of autumn cheer in the middle of winter?
I'm keeping poetry submissions open for the next three months, so anyone who feels inspired by the season is welcome to send in their work! I am sorry about the delay of plans for anyone who was looking forward to this sooner, but sometimes plans must be adapted. I'm very excited about this, and grateful for all the support from you. In the meantime, have a wonderful September!

Beautiful photographs, I particularly love the last one with how the red leaf is framed by the green ones.
ReplyDeleteI'd hoped I might be able to get a submission in for your zine but I had to take on an extra part time job this month and things got pretty hectic. Not that's it's any loss, my idea wasn't all that anyway. I'm looking forward to reading it though, and I agree it should be nice to reminisce about the season after it's past and everybodies sick to death of winter!
Breathtaking. You have such an eye. They are all so perfect but the first and second are my favorite. I love all the colors. You have a gift.

I seriously need a view like that. Being born and raised in the city is fun, but my roots call for nature. Hahah
ReplyDeleteI can't wait till autumn hits here in Los Angeles.<3
P.S: Lovely song! Really had me relaxed. :)
