Summer's End

Life is not all butterflies and cups of tea, but there has been a lot of both in late August and now in early September. Plus the crepe myrtle is blooming. It's sad to see summer go, but we're entering into a beautiful season in NC.

    These are simply great. And that crepe myrtle... I've never seen one so red! Oh that color!

      Our neighbor has such beautiful crepe myrtle trees. I'm always surprised by them because I forget how late in the season they bloom.
